Killer Red Fresh Hop India Red Ale

Killer Red is the first fresh hop beer we make each year with the first Centennials off the bines, the hops arriving within two hours of being harvested. Piles of the fresh hops are heaped in to the secondary for a massive dry hopping, giving this IRA aromas of Northwest rainforest, tangerine, and ripe grapefruit. Balanced, smooth and wonderfully aromatic, and a lovely rusty hue.
Killer Green Fresh Hop IPA

It’s that time again. We bring you Killer Green, loaded with Centennial picked fresh from Crosby Hop farms. These juicy pearls were jam packed with sticky lupulin, delivering sticky ripe citrus, dewy evergreen, and some lovely tropical cannabis aromas. Be Green. Drink Killer Green.
Fresh Hop Iowa Bar Fight Fresh Hop IPA
6.4% ABV | 65 BU
The Iowa, once upon a time a one off, has returned for its second year in the fresh hop form. Why wouldn’t ya? Loaded with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and a hefty firstful of fresh Strata hops from Crosby Farms in Woodburn, OR. It’s a sticky, resinous, and fun brawl of citrus, resinous tropics, and a hint of cannabis.

Head Stash Fresh Hop IPA
Brewed with fresh Simcoe hops, this Northwest IPA is full-bodied, resinous, and piney. Citrus flavors of orange and grapefruit mingle with a light malt sweetness. Inhale deeply to experience the bold, dank aroma of this year’s crop.

MAC & JACK’S BREWING
African Amber
This beer erupts with a floral, hoppy taste, followed by a well rounded malty middle, finishing with a nicely organic hop flavor. Locally sourced two row grain and a blend of specialty malts give our amber its rich taste. Further complexity is achieved by leaving the beer unfiltered, providing exceptional flavor, as well as giving our amber its unique "cloudy" look. Lastly, we dry hop with locally grown, Yakima valley hops creating what has become the original, cult classic, northwest amber ale.
Marty Time Lager
Brewed with 100% Sterling hops makes this a refreshing beer, complemented with a slight hint of malt on the nose. This all day drinker has great balance between the mild malts and hops. This beer is not just a beverage; it's a symbol of remembrance and support. In 2020, Mac & Jack’s Brewing Company suffered the tragic loss of one of our long-time sales reps, Erik Martinsen, to his battle with brain cancer. A portion of the proceeds from every keg sold is donated to cancer research and care. Through this, his memory lives on in the pursuit of a cure for the very illness that took him too soon. With each sip of this beer, you not only savor a delightful brew but also contribute to a cause that holds profound significance for all who had the privilege of knowing Erik.

Elemental Fresh Hop IPA
Two hours from farm to brewhouse, now that's fresh, one might even say super fresh! This year we added 500lbs of Luminosa hops that were harvested from Coleman Farms to create a delicious brew featuring notes of tangerine and lime zest with undertones of tropical fruit.

This American Lager is crisp, refreshing and quaffable. Slightly fruity in aroma with a pale straw in color. Higher carbonation brings a dry finish and a medium-light body. Mt. Hood fresh hops bring slight herbal and floral notes.

This full body red IPA has a slight maltiness with a grapefruit aroma. Full flavored IPA has characters of citrus and pine from the addition of Mosaic, Idaho 7 and fresh Mosaic hops put in the cold side.

6.5% West Coast IPA cold side hopped with Alora wet hops from the Yakima Valley. This West Coast IPA features kettle additions of CTZ, Amarillo and Cascade hops from the Yakima Valley. The cold side addition of Alora wet hops boasts notes of Yuzu, peaches, and melon to this bready honey body. Well balanced with a round crushable finish.
Rice to Meet You
4.7% Japanese Rice Lager cold side hopped with wet Sorachi Ace hops from Virgil Gamache Farms in the Yakima Valley, Brewed with flaked rice and premium pilsner malt. This style produces a familiar "spicy" aroma indicative of classic American domestic beers, yet has a complex flavor profile reminiscent of Rice Krispie Treats. Bold grassy and resinous flavors generated by the Sorachi Ace wet hop addition.

Fresh Hop Abominable is a fan favorite at Hopworks! This India Red Ale is brewed with fresh Centennial hops from Goschie Farms in Silverton, OR that add juicy notes of citrus and pine. Caramel sweetness balances out the assertive hop additions to create the perfect PNW Fresh Hop Ale.
Fresh Hop Overland IPA
A modern twist on a classic Northwest IPA – this beer is brewed with fresh Amarillo hops from Roy Farms in Moxee, WA and is brimming with flavors of tropical fruit, mango, and pine. Fresh Hop Overland is light-bodied to showcase these bright flavors, finishing crisp with a firm bitterness.

Long Haze of Summer
A fresh take on our flagship hazy IPA, this beer is loaded to the brim with fresh Strata hops from Crosby Hop farm and generously dry-hopped with citra hops. 6.6% ABV
Big Donkey
We brew our triple IPA with loads of fresh Strata hops from Crosby Hop Farms, and then we dry hop it with even more Strata, Citra and Simcoe hops. Paired with a fun Nordic farmhouse yeast, this beer is complex yet comes across lighter than it's ABV suggests.
Fresh Velvet Fresh Hop West Coast IPA
6.3% ABV | 50 BU
A few months ago, we brewed this beer with our friends at Van Henion out of Bend, OR. It was crispy, bright, and chock full of evergreen, ruby red grapefruit and apricot aromas. It used HBC 586, now known as Krush (™). Our friends at Perrault Farm let us know they would have some we could use fresh. So, we did. Feels nice doesn’t it? Keep it classy.
Adeline Blackberry Cider
6.5% ABV | 0.09% RS
Here in the PNW we love our berries. This dry cider was pressed with King David, Wickson Crab and Northern Spy apples, and co-fermented with Oregon Blackberries. With this technique, the apples and berries get to hang out and party together. The result is a dry, more complex and refreshing beverage bursting with ripe blackberry, summer apple, and raspberry sorbet aromas. It’s a pretty color too.
Dry Cider Hard Apple Cider
6.7% Alc/Vol | .09% RS
For our flagship cider, we kept it simple and local. Newtown’s and old world cider apples from the Double Mountain Orchard are pressed and fermented on a house yeast strain. We gave it plenty of time to dry out and develop wondrous aromas of juicy pear, lychee, green fruit, and chamomile. It finishes tart, crisp, dry, and quenching.

Fresh Outta Portland IPA
This year's version of Fresh Outta Portland highlights a few of our favorite partners in the industry. Brewed with 60 lbs of fresh Goschie Farm Strata hops per batch (we blended together 7 batches) that were nitrogen frozen and put directly into the packaging tank. Pale and Vienna malt offer a medium body and a clean white head.

A big aggressively hopped Hazy IPA, with a golden color and loads of hop aroma and flavor. 80 lb of Fresh harvested Amarillo Hops from Crosby Hop Farms.

pFriem’s Fresh Hop Hazy IPA shines sun-burnt rose gold and is bursting with candied lemon, papaya, and mango aromas. Enjoy resinous notes of ripe peach, powdered sugar, and lime, finishing fluffy with a hint of green melon.

pFriem’s Fresh Hop West Coast IPA features deep golden hues, cloud white foam, and tropical aromas. It delivers resiny citrus and strawberry notes, with a bright, floral, and dank finish.

t’s called, “One Less Sprinter” as a nod to both Jason and Andrew’s (Brewmaster of Spinning Wheels) tastes in little adventure machine vans. It’s on tap at both Solera and Spinning Wheels. This Strata fresh hop beer hits all the notes the collective mind was looking for, but avoiding the grassiness that usually comes with a fresh hop beer. There isn’t much, so be sure to get in and try it before it’s just a fond memory.
